Today, I’m GOLDEN.
21 YEARS OLD ON THE 21ST OF SEPTEMBER.
Today means a lot to me. This birthday is not only the birthday that marks the day I become a “legal” adult, but it’s also a reminder of how precious life really is. XXI. 21. twentyone.
I have been through so much in these past 21 years of my life. I am reminiscing about all the lovely things that life has given me and everything I have endured who has shaped me into the person I am today. I am older, wiser, smarter and loving because of everyone and everything that has helped me become the woman I am today.
I woke feeling a sense of accomplishment this morning. I was 21, in college, and ready to take on the world. I was proud of everything I have done in my life and proud of what I’m ready to do with my life.
Today, I realized the amount of people in my life who truly care about me. I was the happiest person today. Even the smallest gesture, made a difference to me.
My family. My Best Friends. My MUB staff. Res Ed. My residents. My Explorer class. They all had a part in how this day turned out and I am thankful for every good thing that happened to me today.
I am blessed with life, health, and wonderful people who mean to world to me.
Thank you for making this birthday one to never forget.
